Other Activities for June include:

* While at the Andrews Air Show in Washington DC last month we were approached by a woman who had explained that her 22 year old grand son has been wheel chair bound since an accident at age 2. She described him as a huge drag racing and aircraft fan. We contacted the care facility where Christopher is housed and sent him a care package filled with items from the Navy Racing Team’s including apparel, a Blue Angels lithograph, many of our sponsors shirts and a great deal of photos

* A little closer to home we found out about a family that had paid a contractor to build a wheel chair accessible deck but left the family without performing the service. All the material was at the site so the Blue Team spent two days assembling the deck for the Z. family at no cost to them.

* It is a good feeling to give back and you can expect to read about such things in all our future updates.
